About SupplyWhy

SupplyWhy is building the future of autonomous supply chain planning. We're deploying multi-agent AI systems that replace fragile, spreadsheet-based processes with resilient, self-healing supply chains capable of making real-time decisions at enterprise scale. Starting with the automotive industry, we're tackling inefficiencies in one of the world's most complex supply chain ecosystems.

Our approach combines cutting-edge agentic AI with deep supply chain domain expertise. We're working with Fortune 500 manufacturers to transform how they plan, forecast, and respond to disruptions. Backed by leading investors and a proven sales team, we've achieved significant early traction and recently closed our latest funding round to accelerate growth.

As we scale our platform and customer base, we're expanding our core engineering team with exceptional talent who want to solve globally important problems.

About the Role

As a senior full-stack engineer, you will own critical product features end to end, spanning modern web interfaces, scalable backend services, and production AI agent systems. You'll build with Next.js, Python, and cutting-edge LLM frameworks to deliver multi-agent workflows that Fortune 500 enterprises depend on daily. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes how global supply chains operate.

You'll collaborate closely with our founding team, work directly with enterprise customers to understand their challenges, and have significant influence over product roadmap, system architecture, and engineering standards. Your technical decisions will set the foundation for our platform as we scale.

This role is ideal for experienced engineers who thrive on ownership and want to build AI-native products that solve real-world problems at scale. If you're a strong engineer from a top program or company who values end-to-end ownership, direct customer impact, and the opportunity to shape a category-defining product, this is the role for you.

What You Will Do

1

Design, build, and ship production features that span modern web interfaces (Next.js), scalable backend services (Python), and autonomous AI agent systems

2

Translate complex supply chain challenges into elegant technical architectures and robust production systems

3

Shape our multi-agent platform architecture, including agent tooling, memory systems, and orchestration frameworks

4

Drive system reliability and performance through data-driven monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement

5

Define engineering standards and best practices as a founding member of our core engineering team

Must Have

  • Proven experience building AI-native enterprise software (copilots, decision support systems, or autonomous agents)
  • Strong full-stack capabilities: modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js) and backend services/APIs in Python
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of owning and shipping meaningful features or systems at scale
  • Production experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and integrating them into enterprise workflows
  • Hands-on experience with agentic systems: multi-agent frameworks, function calling, routing, memory, or RAG architectures
  • Strong prompt engineering skills and ability to improve agent behavior through systematic experimentation and data analysis
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate delivery without compromising quality
  • Collaborative mindset with strong ownership of outcomes and impact, not just task completion

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or enterprise operations
  • Experience collaborating directly with enterprise customers or stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate on solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices
